I watched CNN pack up its cameras and leave a media event last Friday because the adult victims of pedophile priests demonstrating outside the L.A. Cathedral on a public sidewalk did not call in advance and arrange the "press conference" with the Archdiocese "the way SNAP always does."
After organizing this one press event, it is blatantly plain to me. Mainstream media are totally willing to go along with corporate control of every story. The only place to find real news reporting is on blogs and even then, dear readers, your only hope to find out the real truth is to be discerning. Everything else is just a camera pointed at a spokesman, who is reading a statement that has been vetted to the corporate lawyers. Everyone is just trying to cover their asses to keep from being sued, instead of delivering the news.
